Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best way to get started?
The best way to begin is with The First Glow intro offer, designed to help you explore a variety of classes, instructors, and heat levels at your own pace. This two-week intro period gives you enough time to experience the full LŪMA vibe — movement, energy, restoration, and community.
What should I do after ‘The First Glow’ intro ends?
Most clients transition into one of our memberships or class pack options, depending on their goals:
If you want consistency: choose a monthly membership
If you prefer flexibility: choose a class pack
If you're exploring a routine: continue with drop-in classes as needed
Our team is always available to help you choose the option that best supports your goals and schedule.
How do I book a class?
You can book directly through our website via your Walla login. Your first step is simply creating an account and reserving your spot on the schedule.
How do I access the schedule?
We use the Walla booking site for all of our bookings and account management. You can easily access Walla through our website or the Walla App. You can download the Walla App for ISO users here and android users here.
What do I need to bring to class?
Water - we sell bottles in studio and also provide water to refill your own bottle.
Yoga mat (bring your own or rent in-studio)
Sweat towel (optional but encouraged)
What should I wear?
Wear breathable, moisture-wicking clothing. For men, your typical workout shorts are great! For women, sports bras, tank tops, and biker shorts or leggings are perfect for our classes.
Do you have a Lost & Found?
Yes! Items left behind will be placed in our Lost & Found at the studio. If you leave something behind, kindly ask our studio hosts the next time you are in to check for it. To keep things tidy, unclaimed items are donated on the 1st of every month.
Are the classes heated?
Yes! Most of our classes are moderately heated to enhance sweat, mobility, and muscle activation. Each class description will note whether it is heated, warm, or non-heated. Our heated classes range from 85-100 degree depending on the class type.
What’s the difference between heated and warm classes?
Heated classes reach 95–100°F for a drenched type sweat and higher intensity.
Warm classes stay around 85–90°F for a comfortable, elevated glow.
Non-heated classes are available for recovery, mobility, and restorative sessions.
I’ve never done a heated class — can beginners join?
Absolutely. Our instructors cue modifications and encourage breaks. You’ll build tolerance gradually. We encourage you to take breaks, hydrate, and listen to your body.
Can I participate if I’m pregnant?
We welcome pregnant individuals in most classes.
For safety, we follow the guidance of ACOG and prenatal exercise research:
Most pregnant individuals can safely exercise in warm environments up to ~90°F.
For classes above 90–95°F, we recommend using personal judgment and consulting a provider.
We do not recommend participating in classes 100°F or higher during pregnancy.
We also recommend:
Extra hydration
Taking breaks as needed
Avoiding overheating or breath-holding
Modifying movements as your pregnancy progresses
Always consult your prenatal provider to determine what’s best for you.
What if I'm feeling sick—can I still come to class?
If you’re feeling sick, running a fever, experiencing respiratory symptoms, or recovering from a contagious illness, we ask that you stay home and rest.
